 Blessing at A Wedding

There is water moving beneath frozen ice
There is lightning striking the same place twice
If you only use your eyes, what more can you see
For the living world goes living on eternally

There will be mountains that will fall down at your feet
There is nothing that you need that you cannot seek
If you are who you are, what more can you be
So let your children grow like the leaves grow on the trees

Sleep beneath the trees and see your dreams have been given
And the life that you lead is the life that you are living
When there's no more division
Between what is you and what is me
The living world goes living on eternally
So let your children grow like the leaves grow on the trees
So let your children grow like the leaves grow on the trees

I give you my blessing

Alexander McCowan. 2011.
